After more than twenty years of living in the Mexican Caribbean and raising my family here, I often think back to the early days when we spent our weekends on the Tulum coastline. It was a very simple time. Beachfront places were rustic, there was almost no connection to the outside world, and it felt like it was just us, the ocean, and the jungle. Those memories still mean a lot to me.
Tulum has grown in incredible ways since then. The hotel zone has become a place where history, Mayan culture, cuisine, jungle, cenotes, and modern creativity all come together. People arrive looking for wellness, peace, inspiration, or a reset, and somehow Tulum gives them exactly what they need.
The experience here feels almost magical. The soft white sand, the turquoise water, the sound of the palms, the food, the music, and the atmosphere stay with you long after you leave. Standing on that shoreline, looking at the horizon, you can feel that there is something special about this place and that everyone who comes here is sharing in it.
Tulum continues to evolve, but the feeling it creates remains unforgettable.
